True. QUite different from the traditional roofing materials used until the ships brought it in. Elsewhere in the country, it spread along the railway routes.

Wow :wow: lovely pic link - and Applecross too :giggle: I also love this place and have set a novel (unpublished I'm afraid) here based on an ancient religious manuscript. It's a great place, facing the sea back to the mountains, feels like pure isolation.
